  the chops here are really good. They cook them in batter which meakes them extra crispy. I have the cod usually and again the batter is gr8. Fish was good too. There are usually queues so it must be good. Parking is hellish so get there when it opens and when there are spaces to park.

• Battered chips!

  If you want real chips then this is the place to be. Most places serve chips that are too soggy or just not tasty enough but this place bucks that trend. They simply serve the best chips around. There are always queues to get into this place which proves its popularity. You can phone your order through and they will have it waiting for you which is useful. I wouldn’t recommend the burgers, they came without onions or any kind of sauce or relish which was a bit odd. But I could eat chips from there every night of the week if I could, but I try and stick to having it as a Friday night treat!
